I am out of network for insurance. Clients pay out-of-pocket for all sessions at the completion of the session. Payments are accepted via credit or debit card.

I am happy to provide you an invoice (a 'Superbill') for our services which you can submit to your insurance company to seek reimbursement. Here is a step by step process of how to contact your insurance about reimbursement:

  1. Call your insurance provider at the number listed on the back of your insurance card.
  2. Ask your provider what percentage is covered for “out-of-network” or “non-participating providers.”
  3. Ask your provider what the “maximum allowed amount” is per session (this is sometimes referred to as “reasonable and customary fees”) for a licensed psychologist. If they ask, the CPT/procedure code is 90837 for individual psychotherapy
  4. Ask your provider if you have a deductible for an out-of-network provider and how much it is.

You are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate in accordance with the No Surprises Act (Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act). Go here to learn more.

I'm a licensed psychologist specializing in reproductive psychology and am passionate about helping people maintain their mental health while while in a difficult journey to parenthood, whatever that journey entails -  fertility treatment, pregnancy loss, third party reproduction, or surrogacy. Although a reproductive journey is full of pain, grief, and isolation, I firmly believe that every person can also find strength, make meaning out of the journey, and ultimately evolve into a better person (and future parent) through the struggle.

When I got into psychology, I never pictured I would end up specializing reproductive mental health. I trained in a range of mental health settings including medical centers, psychiatric hospitals, and intensive outpatient programs. I completed my predoctoral internship at Yale School of Medicine and my postdoctoral training at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center.

In 2018, I co-founded a group private practice in Los Angeles, www.westsidepsychla.com. I was always drawn to the intersection of health and psychology, but it wasn't until my own fertility and pregnancy loss journey that I became deeply passionate about reproductive psychology, family building, IVF, third party reproduction, and surrogacy.

In going through IVF and pregnancy loss myself, I learned so much that I felt like I earned a masters degree in navigating assisted reproduction. I found myself finding ways to pass on this knowledge and support others through the journey, and which led me to pursue specialized training in reproductive mental health. I completed training and sought mentorship through the Mental Health Professional Group (MHPG) of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). Once I completed my own family building, I shifted my clinical practice to be focused on reproductive mental health.

In 2023, I relocated from LA to Maryland with my family. I offer in-person sessions in Timonium near Green Spring Station, and see clients virtually. I am licensed in California, Maryland, and am a member of PSYPACT, which allows me to practice in 41 other states as well.
